MY BROADWAY DREAM

New York Musical Theater Workshops
Be A Triple Threat !

Dear Friends,
Welcome to the MY BROADWAY DREAM website. I started this company and chose this name because there is a passion in all of us to come to New York and see a Broadway show or To Be In One. So many Major Universities, Dance schools and Performing Arts schools have nurtured this desire and I applaud them All as this was my dream since the age of 5 years old.

My involvement with the Broadway show A CHORUS LINE for 35 years has brought me to this point in my life where I want to share all the requirements needed to make this dream come true for other performers. Did you know our show was the first show that coined the phrase TRIPLE THREAT? Yes, it's true. We were the first Broadway show to ask a performers to DANCE, SING and ACT, equally strong in all three. So now, this has become the standard for all musicals on Broadway. After years of auditioning performers for almost 40 companies, I believe that it is necessary to start a workshop that gives performers training in all three areas.  I have gathered together a wonderful team to help me accomplish this task. Meet Our Dream Team! Nikole Vallins, from Binder Casting, has been sitting next to me for the past 5 years while casting the 2006 Broadway Revival and National Tour of A Chorus Line and will continue to be with me for the Non-equity Production coming in the fall of 2010. Richard Selbelico and I have a life long relationship and ties with A Chorus Line. He is a well celebrated Actor, Director and Acting teacher. My Drummer, Ray Grappone, has been with me since 1986 traveling all over Europe and back to Broadway in A Chorus Line and will play for the "Baayork Lee Official Warm Up of A Chorus Line". You will be coached as you DANCE, SING and ACT... then you will be critiqued with Broadway in mind.
If you decide to join me, you must come prepared to Work Hard at achieving Your Broadway Dream.
Hope to meet you all and help you LIVE YOUR DREAM.

With loving Spirit,

BAAYORK LEE
